The Group Styles Inventory (GSI) develops consensus decision-making skills and promotes constructive team environments. The GSI enables teams to understand their thinking and behavioural styles so that they can identify practical strategies for enhancing effectiveness.
The GSI can be administered immediately after a simulation, group meeting or work session. It requires participants to describe how they approached a task by responding to a set of questions. This provides feedback on the styles that have contributed to, or detracted from, overall team effectiveness.
Differences between the consolidated group profile and individual profiles reflect the impact that the group is having on individuals.
The GSI can be used to track the development of a team over time.
Results are plotted on the Circumplex.

The GSI provides teams with a snapshot of their behaviours. Analysing these behaviours enables teams to identify practical strategies for increasing their effectiveness.
The GSI can be used to monitor and measure a team's progress, highlighting achievements and identifying challenges.
There is no better way of understanding the Circumplex (model at the heart of the Human Synergistics tools) than by experiencing it. The GSI provides a fast and intuitive way of climbing the learning curve.
